I am Adrianna, that Canadian Rockies hiking mom that founded Kids Who Explore while pregnant on the trial. I have hiked hundreds of trails with both of my babies since they were super tiny. I am excited to see some super cool baby hiking products getting launched on the market to help outdoor families continue finding adventure once baby arrives. My mission at Adrianna Adventures to help connect moms to nature, their babies, and eachother through hiking, backpacking, and exploring the outdoors. And my mission at Kids Who Explore is to connect more kids to nature. Getting outdoors with a baby can be a struggle and having helpful products like the trail tether has solved a rather big issue in our hiking community! Losing things on the trail is very common. I have dropped so many soothers into the wild and lost them sadly. The trail tether has changed that for hiking moms everywhere and I am so here for it!

The Trail Tether is your go-to solution for securing gear on the go. Designed with a heavy-duty carabiner and a strong looped strap, it makes it easy to attach just about anything to just about everything.
Use it to:
Hang essentials around your campsite
Secure extra items to your hiking pack
Clip toys, soothers, or bottles to child carriers or strollers
Think of it as the Swiss Army knife of gear straps—compact, versatile, and always ready for adventure.

Why I Never Hit the Trail Without My Trail Tether
If you’ve ever hiked, camped, or even just went on a nature walk with kids in tow, you know this truth: kids come with stuff. And keeping that stuff from disappearing into the wild is basically an Olympic sport! I now have a toddler and pre-schooler and we use our trial tethers daily to keep us from losing things on our adventures. The Trail Tether by Stahr Outfitters is a compact gear strap that has quickly become one of my absolute essentials for life on the trail.
One Strap. Endless Uses!
From the outside, it might look like a simple carabiner-and-strap combo, but let me tell you, this little tool does it all. I first clipped it on to keep a soother from falling into the dirt mid-hike and now I keep one on every backpack, stroller, and diaper bag we use.
Here are just a few ways I’ve used the Trail Tether lately:
Clipping our SOS device to my backpack for easy access (and peace of mind).
Securing water bottles so they don’t tumble down the side of the trail.
Tethering toys and soothers for my toddler while we walk or picnic.
Hanging camp shoes from the back of our pack so they can dry while we hike.
Hooking a lantern to the inside of our tent at night.
Hang my hiking poles to my hiking carrier I have lost poles on the trail too haha.
Keeping our tarp rolled and attached to the outside of the pack.
Clipping bear spray to my hiking carrier or stroller on hikes or nature adventures.
Attach my keys to my carrier pocket really so my toddlers don't run off with the key and lose them on the trail.
Carseat tether my son's favourite stuffy and water bottle is attached to the side of his carseat so he can just easily reach for it. It is awesome because it doesn't matter how many times my toddler drops his stuffy out of his carseat, it comes back because of the tether!
It’s strong enough to handle 50 pounds of pull force but lightweight and small enough that I forget it’s even there. The cool thing too is I am just getting to experience the many uses for it when adventuring and it is great to simplify backpacking with kids.
Made for Adventure Families
This isn’t just a baby item. It’s a backcountry essential. Whether you’re organizing your gear, drying out wet socks, or giving your little one something they can’t throw off a cliff (again), the Trail Tether simplifies the chaos that can come with adventuring as a parent.
And honestly, it’s one of those pieces of gear that makes me feel prepared. It’s not flashy, but it’s functional. It’s helped me stay a little more sane and a lot more organized out there. Each hike, my hiking community is finding new uses for the trail tether and many moms are bundling multiples into their orders.

Pro Tip: Bundle & Save
If you’re like me and need more than one (because trust me, one turns into four real quick), there’s a sweet bundle deal: buy 3, get 1 free with code buy3get1free at checkout. If you're in the USA and would like to shop directly from Stahr Outfitters, you can use code KIDSWHOEXPLORE to save!
Don’t just clip it—Tether it. You'll know which one is my favourite colour as you will see our beautiful co-branded purple Kids Who Explore Trail Tether. Purple to my community represents mental health and I love representing that on the trail while hiking with postpartum moms weekly.

Wishing some amazing adventures ahead with your kid(s) and would love to know which colours you choose! Comment below with a new trail tether use! :)
